Children's Book - Mr. Mistoffelees
14 wonderful small humans call me Aunt Gina. In an effort to give them a gift that is both meaningful and unique, I put my design skills to the test and created a book for them using a song from one of my favorite musicals, Mr. Mistoffelees, from the Broadway show Cats. The lyrics of this song are derived from the poem by T.S. Eliot.
All illustrations are hand-drawn. The pages were printed individually on high quality stock paper and then assembled into a book. I used Japanese Stab Binding to bind the book and covered pieces of matboard with fabric for the book covers. I created this book in two different sizes and distributed them as gifts to my nieces and nephews.
